Nara moves through MPB, pop, bossa, Latin rhythm and electronic textures while writing about identity, freedom, prejudice, love, contradiction, faith, manipulation, resistance and ordinary life.
Her songs are intimate when they need to be and unapologetic when they don’t.

Four voices, two languages and absolutely no interest in sanding the edges off.
SUBSOLO | DFB draws from political rap, 90s hip-hop, street humour and everyday frustration, moving between Portuguese and English without asking either language to behave.

We are interested in songs that say something.

Sparrow is built around the idea that technology can make production faster, wider and stranger. It cannot decide what deserves to be said. That part still belongs to people.
The source material is life.
The stories behind Sparrow songs can begin anywhere: personal experience, family memory, conversations, faith, cultural history, social tension, humour, heartbreak, prejudice, resilience, or the life of somebody we may never meet.
Those fragments become songs.
